I have been actively living my life to the hilt. I come from good 'ole dirt PO people. Our large family lived together in mill town; our houses were small huts, while my maternal grandparents had the large house at the end of the road, past the bottle mineral water factory that was powered by a water wheel. I loved many memories from those days. Then, we moved into the city -- Hot Springs, AR. I joined the Air Force a few years after I graduated from Hot Springs, AR. I served for a total of six years. I was stationed at Great Falls, MT (15 mos), then the remainder of my time was served at Elmendorf AFB, AK. During my tour in AK, I had my two sons who were born in 1984 and 1986, yes,18 mo apart! They are best friends. My oldest has his own business in CO, while my youngest son is a software developer for the Go Army Web Team at FT Knox, KY. My youngest son has two daughters...making me the proudest grandmother ever. They are 18 mos apart! I see them every six mos. I am retired. I am a wife to the best man on earth. He loves me dearly, and he loves my children and grandchildren dearly. He taught my son's to be men! My son's we 13 and 14 when we married, so I thought they'd run him off since we had been a team of three for 10 years. My husband is still here! AMEN Basically, I am a hobbyist, from classic movies to quilting. I do a lot of projects for my granddaughters because they have a lot of toys, etc. They love my suitcase when I arrive to their home because Grandmother brings them ragdolls and quilts.
